On another note, Avner Ronan mentioned that the ever elusive Netflix is still on pace to arrive on the Boxee Box by the end of January. Boxee also has an offer where any new member who signs up for Vudu via the Boxee Box will receive a $5.99 credit towards the first purchase/rental. Vudu HDX will be running on the Boxee Box, which offers 1080p 24fps video along with 5.1 channel Dolby Digital Plus. One item in particular worth mentioning is that Vudu has now officially been released to the Boxee Box. Well, a new firmware has just been released, and hopefully this starts to right the ship which has been on a very odd journey. About a week ago new firmware was released only to mysteriously disappear within hours due to numerous bugs.
